I build and rebuild products and internal systems at the intersection of engineering, business, and operations.

What that means

Over 18 years, I have worked across startups, enterprise, banking, and government environments. I led the IT function of a 145-person cultural center, moved 100+ people to remote work, developed an industry system for a network of cultural institutions, and shipped client products from idea to production.

The recurring pattern is fragmented processes, weak tooling, and unclear ownership. I turn those conditions into systems teams can actually run and govern.

The role I take

I work as a playing coach: senior enough to align direction, architecture, and stakeholders; hands-on enough to build an integration, review SQL, prototype a workflow, or carry a release across the line.

Not Mortimer

Mortimer, the author associated with “Conscious Mercantilism,” has the same full name: Anton Vladislavovich Nazarov. We are different people. This is the official site of Antiokh, an IT manager and systems architect in Belgrade and the founder of NeedleBit.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Management with a Small Business Management specialization, plus professional retraining in Information Technology Management. I also studied Applied Informatics in Economics and have a background in accounting and finance.
